I think today is an appropriate time, if you don't each and every day you wake up and draw a breath, to be thankful. 

Today, I am thankful for every soldier who has gone through rigorous training and personal sacrifice to serve our country so that I have the FREEDOM to be thankful, so that I can live in a country that, while not perfect, is still the most wonderful country in the world.  Let us not ever forget that all our beloved freedom came at a price to many!

Today, I am thankful for those members of my family who have gone on before me.  My grandparents, my aunts and uncles, and my beloved Momma are ALL people who shaped my life and who I am.  I miss you and love you!

Today, I am thankful for my family who is still here with me in this walk on this earth.  My precious Daddy, my sisters and BILS, nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews, my children, even though I didn't birth you, and my wonderful grandchildren.  You all are what really make me feel like a rich and very blessed woman.

Today, I am thankful that God gave me the most wonderful husband.  He takes such good care of me and has been my ROCK!!  Times have been tough lately for me and he has held everything together and made everything work out.  I love you B!!

Today, I am thankful to be drawing breath.  To have been granted another day is more of a blessing than I have ever realized.  I hope to never take for granted again that I will have another day.  I only have right now.  Today.  It is all ANY of us have.  Be thankful no matter what.   I know that may be easier said than done.  But each day we are given is truly a gift.

Today, I am thankful for each of my blog friends.  You all have been so wonderful to me and such an encouragement.  I have been through another health scare and I am only going to say that I am just thankful to be here.  To be able to write on this blog is such a blessing.  I haven't written about what has been going on these past couple of weeks because it seemed that I never had anything GOOD to write about.  I am not going to bore you all with details.  Suffice it to say that I am still here, thankful to be here and thankful for all the things I have written about above (and SO much more), and that's the main thing I wanted each of you to know.
