    Is it really spring??

I just thought I would post that question.  I don't know about anywhere else, but around here, it is freezing cold one moment and warm the next.  I have put up an album of pics from our little March snow shower I referred to in a previous post.  The snow was so wet and heavy that hubby had to go knock some off our trees so they wouldn't be harmed.  Piper loved the snow and had great fun hopping around in it.  She wanted out more than she wanted in.

My son-in-law was supposed to be over tonight to do some work but he hasn't made it so far.  Hubby is going to have to MOVE the island.  Yep.  You read that correctly.  SIL determined that we were off by a significant number of inches in where he thought it should be, so it's gonna have to be moved.  I don't envy hubby having to do that!  But, I guess he will.

Tricia asked about my Daddy (thanks girl for asking!).  He is doing absolutely wonderful!!  He has put in a garden for the first time in many years.  He has put in tomatoes, peppers, leaf lettuce, radishes and onions so far.  He has said that he will work a little bit, then go in the house and rest a little.  So he isn't over-doing it.  He just went to a new cardiologist for a new patient check up.  All his tests were great!!  He is just perking along and happy as a little clam.  I DO miss seeing him, and I haven't been able to get over to see him lately due to my being sick.  But I do talk to him at least every other day.  I am just so thankful that he is well, happy and seeming to enjoy life right now.  What a blessing!

I will be going to our other office again tomorrow to work on the boss man's files.  I am going to wear a mask!!  I know I am gonna look like an idiot, but I know handling those old dusty files is bad for my sinuses and I JUST am starting to feel better.  So, I shall look like perhaps I am expecting an invasion of germ warfare or something.  I really don't care.  I just don't want to get sick again.

Can ya'll believe that this Sunday is Easter?  I mean....did it sneak up on anyone else or is it just me.  We will be going to church and then our church is supposed to have "dinner on the grounds" afterwards.  Only thing is, the forecast calls for rain.  So, it will most likely be dinner in the garage/office/apartment at our pastor's house.

If all goes well, I will be going to see my BFF next weekend.  We have had this planned for quite a while.  I haven't gotten to spend much time with her, so I am really looking forward to it.  We will probably do some shopping, but mostly relax and visit.

I hope everyone has a lovely Easter!  I will be back soon okie dokie?

    Love ya'll!  Hugs!!

RED BUD!! We have those trees here too but I could never figure out what kind they were! I have gone to a few different nurserys looking for them and can never find them. I have talked to the people at the nurserys but they have no clue what I am talking about. They are always trying to tell me they are fruitless plum trees? The ad's for places like HD and LOeWs might say..JUST ASK ONE OF OUR EXPERTS, but I have found those people are idoits and can not tell you how to tie your shoes let alone tell you about gardening or permaculture. Nobody I know has a red bud so I have never been able to ask them. They are in parks everywhere but do you think there are tags for what kind of tree they are..NOPE!

Red bud...I am going to buy a red bud, I have a place that would be perfect for it!

Hi bev, so nice of you to stop by. We spent 3 weeks in Mesa Arizona and another 4 weeks in Palm desert which is a suburb of Palm springs. I can hardly wait to go back, the climate really does agree with me. I never could understand why ppl went there, never understood the pull but I sure do know now. I wish we could have stayed longer but my son (the one who is autistic) was with us and he needed to get back to his routine which is very important to him. We are planning to go a few weeks earlier this year, 2 weeks before Christmas we are hoping. and staying a couple of months.

I sure hope spring arrives for you soon, its been a nasty winter for all it seems. We were able to sneak away down south between 2 bad snow storms, we had 3 feet the day we left. The roads were very good surprisingly enough. Anyway, you take care and keep in touch. ((hugs)) Patricia

Hey glad to read you are feeling better first of all! The mask is probably a smart idea. This crazy weather cannot be helping you get any better at all! I'm sick of it too--I can't believe how much snow you guys got! I thought of you yesterday as I watched the news and all the thunderstorm warnings in your area. Hope it didn't get too crazy where you lived. We had some strong strong winds and fires all around us it seemed. Glad that's all over with...for now! Take care of yourself, and have a wonderful Easter--and no, I can't believe it's that late in the year either!

Move the island? Oh no! Well this renovation is just not going as smooth as hoped is it? Jeesh! I wish we lived closer. I would send Alan over to help hubby and speed this process along a bit. I am so happy to hear your Daddy is doing well. I am so jealous that he was able to put veggies in the ground already! Lucky dog! I need to ask you about your hydrangeas one day. Oh goodness, that picture of the snow with the tree in purple blooms just does not fit! Is that a fruit tree? What kind of tree is that? I just love the color! I don't blame you for wearing a mask. I would. All that dust, YUCKY! It's alright if you look like your ready for Chemical warfare, just take a picture so we can laugh at you. I mean WITH YOU..WITH YOU I MENT! hehehe!

Easter is about ready to make my hair turn grey! Boss man spent the extra money for payroll AGAIN! I need my pay check, I need to buy stuff for this dinner of 12 I am hosting! I hate waiting till the last minute to buy stuff and dealing with the store crowds. It looks as if I am going to need to tap into savings cause we ain't gonna get paid anytime soon! GRRR!

    Enjoy your weekend!!!
