Hi all!  I am back as promised.  I am sitting here kinda watching the Dancing With the Stars recap.  I am a DWTS junky you know.  I think this season is going to be great.  Can you say Gilles??  Is he just super HOT or what??  And all I can say for the Bachelor is your loss sucka!  Mellissa rocks!!  I will be watching every single week with great interest to see who progresses each week.

I have been absent for several reasons.  One reason.  Working on.....  I know.  I know.  I have been rolling primer on the newly textured walls (which makes this old gal pretty sore).  Hubs has been working on and has the island installed.  The dishwashers will be installed FRIDAY!!  Woohooo!!  We still have SO much to do, but I am so excited to be this much closer to completion.

Both of us have both been fighting illness.  I had the flu/virus and missed two days of work last week.  I did go to work on Friday of last week, but I felt pretty bad still.  Hubby has been fighting a nasty cold.  He came home Thursday about 4 and went straight to bed and I never heard another peep outta him till morning.  He spent most of Friday and Saturday in bed too.  I spent the weekend trying to get to feeling better and trying to keep the dogs quiet and out of his hair.  Can I just say that my dogs bark at the slightest provocation (and maybe even NO provocation), so I had my hands full.  I rested but didn't spend the day in bed.  I have watched ALL the movies I borrowed from my sis, those being The Women, Dan in Real Life and P.S. I love You.  I liked all three.  Thank goodness my sis loves movies and buys them a lot.  She has kept me in good watching material.  You know..  Chick flicks!! In return, I have gotten her hooked on Janet Evanovich books.  I took her the latest "in between" Stephanie Plum book which I bought.  She read that, decided she really liked it, and has since gone to the library for three or four more books.  There are 14 in the series, so she should have some reading material for a while.

Oh and joy of joys....I now have a scratchy throat and a headache.  Have had them ALL day.  So this probably means I am getting hubby's cold.  C.R.A.P.!!!  He gets over his pretty easily.  Me.....they hang on and on and on and I usually end up going to the doc at least twice.  I took some Claritin earlier today and before bed I am going to take some Benadryl.  If that doesn't knock it, I see a doctor visit in my near future.

I am going to be going to our other office for a couple of days to help out my wonderful bossman.  His office there is an absolute WAR ZONE of files and papers which need organized.  So I shall see what I can do to assist him in getting some order restored.  If I manage to get it done I will be a SUPASTAR!!
